Append query never loads

I have two tables that are loading from sharepoint list.  They both load instanteounsly.   However when I append the two tables in a single table and I apply the changes the "Apply Query Changes" never returns.  Also when I'm in Advanced query editor the new table previews immediately.   It less than 400 rows of data so

This is all the merge table is doing.

You may try File > Options and settings > Options > Privacy or use UNION Function in DAX.

The DAX Query worked.
