Add column return Formula.Firewall

Hi,

I want to consume json from a web, i add a column to this table and place a query to get json content from the web,

I got this error message:

Formula.Firewall: Query 'the_query' (step 'Added Custom') references other queries or steps, so it may not directly access a data source. Please rebuild this data combination.

It makes error:

#"Added Custom" = Table.AddColumn(#"Changed Type", "Custom", each Json.Document(Web.Contents("theURL")))

I am very sure i dont use reference from any other query or steps, it just this one line that makes error

What i am missing,

Thank you

Any solution for this? the suggestion at excelguru.ca didn't work for me because I'm conecting web>json (just as this topic)  ... the excelguru.ca is about standard local files...

Hi @simp,

Here is a similar thread in which a workaround for this issue is mentioned. Could you go to check if it helps?Smiley Happy
