How to show that "day name" is true or false

Hi,

I created a new column to show whether the result is true or false. What will be my DAX to have the result whether the day name (ex. Wednesday and Friday) is true? MicrosoftTeams-image (10).png

Hi @koyDominic ,

In power BI, there is a function WEEKDAY(Date) which gives integer value starting Sunday as 1 so if you want to get DAX to check if Day of Date is Wednesday then follow below steps:

Create a new column with below DAX expression:

IsWednesday = IF(WEEKDAY('Date Table'[Column1].[Date]) =4, TRUE(), FALSE())

Hi @koyDominic ,

You have to change the DAX expression as below in order to get True for Day either Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.

CheckDay = IF(WEEKDAY('Date Table'[Column1].[Date]) =4 || WEEKDAY('Date Table'[Column1].[Date]) = 2 || WEEKDAY('Date Table'[Column1].[Date]) = 3 , TRUE(), FALSE())

Please refer to the below screenshot for the same,
