"Data View" visual

It would be really great to get some kind of visual that allows for data exploration directly on the canvas. Yes, we have tables, but the function of the table isn't intended for data exploration in the way users want to explore the quality of the data. We often have users that want to look at all records in a single data set -- similiar to what developers use the "Data View" for. Something that looks and functions the same that can get plopped on the canvas would be AWESOME.
