Text Based Excel

I have been tasked with creating a dashboard off an excel sheet that is heavy on text.  There is no numerical data to report rather it's a workbook that is showing text in all the columns.  For example, I have a column with the heading Q1 but all the rows beneath it has text relating to what is projected to occur in that quarter.  Additionally majority of the cells have spaces within them (Alt+Enter), instead of the users putting information in individual cells there are spaces within each cell (Ex. a. xxxxxxx b. xxxxxxx c. xxxxxxx) I've searched for ideas and visuals relating to this but I have found none.
