Personal Bookmark Backup and restore

Hi, In case that a report has been deleted, there is no current way to recover users personal bookmarks.

 currently there is no way to :

1. Backup and restore personal bookmarks
2. Export/import personal bookmarks

In case of deletion of a report , the bookmarks disappear as they part of the service and not the pbix

Please provide an option to restore or import personal bookmarks

This is highly important.

We have worked a lot to create a great "Self Service" BI experience for our uses with the Dynamic Report feature.

But after months of hard work one accident caused all of the Personal Bookmarks to vanish. Without any ability to restore it.

This seems especially critical when converting an existing set of datasets and reports into a Power BI Desktop project, with Git repo sync + deployment pipelines.

As far as I'm concerned there is no way to preserve the old objects in the service when creating a Power BI Desktop project, even though the project directory is based on the very.pbix files that reside in the service; the GUIDs (or something) apparently change, and deployment pipelines do not recognize them as the same anymore.

So old ones need to be deleted and replaced, therefore losing all personal bookmarks.

Highly inmportant to our organisation as the personal bookmarks are utilized a lot.

Either an ability to Import/Export bookmarks or convert personal bookmark to report bookmarks or ability for developers edit/view personal bookmarks would be very useful.

please add the feature to import and export personalized bookmarks per report.

After a discussion with Microsoft, this feature is not schleduled yet.
We will create a DCR to give more weight to this request
