Power BI is turning 10! Tune in for a special live episode on July 24 with behind-the-scenes stories, product evolution highlights, and a sneak peek at what’s in store for the future.
Save the dateCustom Visuals Ideas will be in read-only beginning Friday, Feb. 28 as we prepare to move these ideas to the new Fabric Ideas.
Scenario:
OLS enabled on column 'Costs' for Role 'No Costs'.
User 1 (role = admin) logs into Power BI and opens the report. He sees a table/ matrix with 4 columns 'Category', 'Sales', 'Qty', 'Costs'
User 2 (role = No Costs) logs into Power BI and opens the report. He sees a failed visual because column 'costs' is not available for his role. However he would need to be able to see the other columns as well.
Proposed solution:
Make sure that if the column are linked to OLS, that at least tables/ matrixes still show the available data. Maybe this would only be possible if the column is a measure, but this would be really helpful.
