Dynamic formatting for columns

Dynamic formatting on measures is fantastic for adding richness to the values within visuals. I'd love to extend that to columns so that the axis of graphs can also dynamically change depending on various conditions, e.g. switching between decimals and percentages depending on a slicer selection.
