Hey everyone ,
I'm currently facing an issue with our Power BI dashboard and I was hoping you could lend me your expertise to help resolve it.
Here's the situation:
I have two slicers in the dashboard, each representing a period of time. I've selected a period in each slicer, and I'm displaying the sales quantity for each period in separate cards. However, when I try to calculate the average sales quantity for the two periods, I'm getting incorrect results. It seems that the average is only considering the inclusion of the periods rather than the union.
I believe the problem lies in how the slicers are interacting with the data, but I'm not sure how to ensure that the result refers to the unified period.
Could you please take a look at the dashboard and provide any insights or suggestions on how to resolve this issue? Your expertise in Power BI would be greatly appreciated.
@Abdelraouf Sorry, having trouble following, can you post sample data as text and expected output?
Not really enough information to go on, please first check if your issue is a common issue listed here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Before-You-Post-Read-This/ba-p/1116882

The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
