Hello Community, I’m currently working with Power BI and have encountered an issue related to report navigation on mobile devices. I have two reports: Report 1 Report 2 In Report 1, I have a button that redirects to Report 2 using a URL. The issue arises when I use the Power BI mobile app: the URL opens Report 2 in the web version format instead of the mobile-optimized view. I’ve ensured that Report 2 is designed with the Phone Layout feature in Power BI Desktop, but it still doesn’t render correctly in the mobile app. Has anyone else experienced this issue, or can you provide any advice on how to ensure the mobile app opens the report in a mobile-friendly format? Dear fellow Power BI enthusiasts. I have created a Paginated Report that i want to send as a E-mail subscription with an Excel file attatched. It works perfectly on the PC when opening the excel file in the e-mail. When i open the excel file on the phone the formatting on the numbers is odd. From mobile: correct formatting (manual excel file): Has anyone had the same issue or has a solution to the issue ? Thanks. When I publish a report using custom visuals on Power BI Report Server, these visuals are shown as an 404 error when I navigate using Android or iOS PowerBI App. If I navigate using the web portal, all runs normally. Is anyone having the same issue?Solved4.1KViews0likes6CommentsMobile view is not working for embedded powerbi report
Hi, The dashboard is already embedded into web page and it is displaying properly on desktop but when viewed in mobile, it is not rendering as mobile view (I would like it to render similar to mobile app). There's already a mobile view so I'm expecting that when viewed via mobile it will just use that view but unfortunately it is still displaying the desktop view. I'm using on-premise power bi report server.3.1KViews0likes3CommentsUnable to verify report server URL on Power BI Mobile App
Hi All, Wondering if anyone been able to get past this issue where when trying to connect your externally facing (sits behind a citrix netscaler gateway) on-premise Power BI Report Server (Version 1.6.7327.3007 (January 2020)) and constantly getting the following error message: I've tried the following variations but to no avail: https://<servername>.<wildcard>.com/pbireports https://<servername>.<wildcard>.com/pbireportserver http://<servername>.<wildcard>.com/pbireports https://<servername>.<wildcard>.com:443/pbireports <servername>.<wildcard>.com/pbireports https://<ipaddress>.<wildcard>.com/pbireports https://<ipaddress>/pbireports Also i can confirm i access my power bi report server externally and this was tested with my cellular data outside any networks/vpn connections. 😞 Any help is much appreciated.658Views0likes1CommentPower BI Mobile App to Power BI Server with OAuth + WAP: All reports return 404
Greetings, I have configured Power BI Server + OAuth + ADFS + WAP per https://github.com/MicrosoftDocs/powerbi-docs/blob/live/powerbi-docs/consumer/mobile/mobile-oauth-ssrs.md and https://www.youtube.com/embed/okzPAI2uUek. Using Power BI mobile app on Android and iOS, I can successfully authenticate. However, attempting to render any report just "spins" and if clicking refresh, returns 404. I have seen this error reported in a few other places, including: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Report-Server/PBI-with-ADFS-and-WAP-i-can-authenticate-to-Server-but-all/m-p/367034#M4177 https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Report-Server/PowerBI-Mobile-App-and-Report-Server/m-p/397097 I have tried various combinations of changes to the WAP Application, the ADFS Application Group, and SPNs. When attempting to observe via Fiddler, I see the 404 returned on "GET https://FQDN/powerbi/mobile?manifest=OfflineSupport..." Not sure if that's helpful, or a red herring. I also noticed that there are some differences between the github docs and guyinacube's youtube video re ExternalURL and BackEndServerURL. Some examples include "/reports/" and some do not. I'm wondering if that could be related? Has anyone who has had this issue been successful in resolving? Any guidance greatly appreciated! Dear All, using Power BI RS May 2019 we're embedding reports in a web app through iframe. From desktop (windows) with various browsers/versions it works fine. From mobile android with chrome it works fine. From ipad (with ios 12.3.1 and safari 12) it returns an "Access-Control-Allow-Origin" error. Any idea? Thank you very much.2.7KViews0likes2CommentsView optimized mobile reports without using the Power BI App
HI, I would like to know if there´s a way to see mobile reports without the app. I am currently hosting the reports on Power BI Report Server. The idea is for the end user to be able to see the reports set to mobile view in a browser (html link). The Mobile custimization (phone layout in Desktop) does only work for the Power BI App? Is there another way I can view the same report (mobile view) without relying on it? I do not have a technical background so any advice or approach to this issue would help. Hello guys, I deployed the Power BI Report server using a HTTPS certificate signed by the root certificate of my organization and I am not being able to conect the Power BI app on it using the HTTPS portal. Some facts: - I Installed the root certificate on the mobile device, so no HTTPS warnings - I can access the Power BI Reporting Services with my mobile device using the browser - If I go to the Power BI Reporting Services Configuration and set up an HTTP portal, I can use it with the mobile normally - I tested in 2 different devices and 2 different servers with the last version of Power BI Report Server Is someone else having problems to connect the PowerBI App to a PowerBI Report Server with HTTPS?8.5KViews0likes10Comments
