why does new (preview) power bi datamart not work with embed?

the following link says: 

• Datamarts are not currently supported in Power BI embedded

datamart administration 

if the datamart is setup and results in an azure sql db and/or power bi dataset why can they not be accessed by a power bi report which is embedded?
We often face limitations using embed but i do not understand the roadblock here...

I  recommend opening a support ticket, as none of us community members has the authority to answer your question. Each answer is only a guess, not even an educated guess as the feature is "3days old."
