Hi All,

I need some info  the following clarification in the PowerBI report publishing

If the published link is received by an Unknow member (Internal or External), Can he access and view the reports

Share the option or setting to share or Publish the secured link to end-users – Suggest If any setting or Option, So if unknown member receives the link, the link cannot be accessed & Confidential of data is ensured.

HI @nagarjunakan ,

This is a bit more complex than that.  If you share a report and select "allow recipients to share you report" then yes, they can share it all day long to anybody they want.  But, that userid should exist and be allowed into the report - so, when they share the report, they will designate the userid.  The userid that it is shared with has to have a Power BI pro license as well.  As a rule, when you share with people outside your organization, they can view and interact with the report but can't share it themselves.

A way to find out who has acces to a report is to select the report and to view the Access tab to see who can get to the report.

If an "unknown" user is given access and they have the right permissions in Power BI then they have the potential to see the report.

I would appreciate Kudos if my response was helpful. I would also appreciate it if you would Mark this As a Solution if it solved the problem. Thanks!
