Below is the message I see in my usage metric report. That data is almost a month old. How can I get the usage metrics to show me last 30 or 90 days usage view?

Hi homboy27,
We sincerely appreciate your inquiry on the Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.
As per my understanding, the message "Usage data is outdated" appears because the usage metrics report dataset has not been refreshed since 7/12/2025. This issue may arise due to expired or missing credentials, a disabled or failed scheduled refresh, or changes in ownership or permissions within the workspace.
Kindly follow the steps outlined below, which may help to resolve the issue:
Please refer to the below link and attached screenshot to troubleshoot refresh issues:

Hi @homboy27
Generally speaking the usage metric report in power bi is not always accurate due to many factors.
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-usage-metrics
In your case you will need to delete the dataset attached to that report a generate a new one.
All said for better usage metric reporting it is recommended to create your own Audit Log Report using Rest APIs and that could exceed last 90 days of data activities. here is an example

@aj1973 - How do i delete the dateset attached and generate a new report? and how do I create my own audit log report?
Here is all you can know about the New report version which is still in preview

Creating your own audit log report is a bit long process but once it has been put in place it would last for ever. For it you need a machine or server where to extract and store the metadata in CSV or JSON format using Power BI Rest APIs and then build you report.
Here is some videos that could help understand how to build it

where do i check refresh history?
It seems that there was an error in refreshing the report. Please can you check the refresh history and see why it failed? Maybe credentials issue?
If this helped, please consider giving kudos and mark as a solution
