refresh data then save

I have scheduled four workbooks to refresh using Power BI - in the app, I can see they have been refreshed at the times I specified, but the last "Date Modified" in my file explorer doesn't reflect that change. So my question is: will the file be saved once the data has been refreshed?

Or maybe a better question is: is the data refreshed only in the dashboard or is it refreshed in the PQ/PP data model, too, just the workbook is not saved?

Thanks for reaching out. The data is only refreshed in web, where the cached data in PowerBI.com gets updated with your latest data. The Power BI Desktop file that you used to create this dataset doesn't get touched by the scheduled refresh.
