publish to web not updating

I have excel files delivered into dropbox and a query runs on it and the dashboard is published to web.  It worked great for about 45 days.  But starting two days ago, it stopped working on the web.  Even when I hit update dataset manually and refresh, it dashboard is not brining in the latest dates.

 

So, to test this, I updated the dataset on my powerbi desktop and overwrote the dashboard on the web.  While the dashboard on the desktop is current and updates, when I publish to web, it is still stuck from what it was two days ago.  

 

Could anyone help me please?

how do you connect to your dropbox? maybe they change its API or connectivity rules

The gateway software was recently updated, you should try to update your gateway software and then test again.

No, I mean how do you connect powerbi to dropbox? I don't see any built-in connectors. Do you use a permanent link to file? Do you use a Gateway?

I use a gateway and that gateway is connected and on.

Hi @collinq 

It must have been the gateway.  While I did not update the gateway on that specific computer, I uninstalled it and reinstalled the gateway on a different computer and it is working now.  Thanks.

I am just pointing my datasource to the dropbox folder and it was working all this time. I will try to see if they have changed any connectivity rules.
