¿how to get the data from an API in app.powerbi.com?

I have developed an application with REST API, so I need to get the data from said API. I have managed to do it using Power BI Desktop in Power Query with the M language, but I have noticed that when loading data from https://app.powerbi.com/ I can only import a file, but not directly from an API. So I need to know if from https://app.powerbi.com/ I can use the same M language with which I get the data from the API? Or what alternative exists? Likewise, to obtain the records from the api, how is it possible to keep the data refreshed, that is, if new records are entered into the web application, then refresh in the report worked at https://app.powerbi.com/

Hi @jggj ,

As @lbendlin  said, could you further describe your requirements and information such as screenshots of the desired application scenario.

Also for refreshing the dataset via rest api you can refer to the following documentation.

Datasets - Refresh Dataset - REST API (Power BI Power BI REST APIs) | Microsoft Docs

Looking forward to your feedback.

Best Regards,
Henry
