I have an API call that is used for a data souce in a report. It is a simple API that pulls 1 table of about 30k rows. Lately it has been failing, so I reached out to the developer that created the API for me. She is stating that she shows multiple API calls on her end, while on my end the scheduled refresh is every 4 hours and I can only see whether it passed or failed and the time stamps.
The question is, if the first call to the API fails, does it continuously try to pull the API for a set amount of times? If so, is there a way to turn this off? I didn't see anything in Power Query or PBIX settings that I could change.
Please help, she is driving me crazy!
How are you initiating the API call, via scheduled refresh? Do you get errors in the refresh history?
