how do i restrict users from downloading a pbix file or restrict access to dataset

how do i restrict users from downloading a pbix file or restrict access to dataset.  I added a user with pro license to a workspace in premium capacity.

1) And I want the user to retrict from downlading pbix file.

2) restrict user from accessing dataset. Currently users are able to go to dataset settings and refresh on demand and can do all stuff from there. How do i restrict them. I just want them access the report and dataset

Today is not possibile.

You can only restrict all user to download pbix by tenant setting.

I have the same problem, i will go this way:

-workspace view only

-all users like member

-only 2/3 user that need to work on it administrator

Hi @Anonymous 

Please select the arrow next to Workspaces > select the ellipsis (…) next to your workspace name > Edit workspace.

Check if you give "edit" permission to the memebers of the App Workspace.

Change "edit" to "view".

@v-juanli-msft  but this applies to all members of workspace right?  i want to restrict only certain members.

I think i have to wait until we have the proposed 'Viewer' option in the new app workspaces is generally available. As of now we only have Admin, Member, Contributor .
