google analytics import error

Hi, When im trying to connect to GA Im getting the following error:

I tried again this week, Im having the same error. Meanwhile Im working on Power BI desktop.

Hi @sebasalmeidam,

In Power BI Desktop, as the connecter rely on the Google Analytics Core Reporting API. If you get error when you connect to GA, I would suggest you contact the Google Analytic for help by clicking here to make sure the there is no issue on GA side.

Based on my understanding, it seems that you are trying to get Google Analytics content pack and the error throws out when you import the data, right?

In your scenario, please make sure you have a Google Analytics account, and check if the connection is using a correct account assume there are multiple accounts in the browser. For more information, please refer to this article especially Troubleshooting section: Google Analytics content pack for Power BI.

Meanwhile, you can use Google Analytics account to retrieve data from Google Analytics in Power BI Desktop to create custom report. Then publish the report to Power BI Service. See: Third-party service: Google Analytics connector for Power BI Desktop.

@sebasalmeidam eror messgae doesn't seem very helpful as it is showing only numbers. i would contact ms support or use send a frown option for error of these types.
