filter the data in the dataflow using sharepoint online list as a datasource.

We have a sharepoint online list as a datasource where we have records 15 columns  and 1000 records in the list..

Requirement is to display only 5 columns and need to use the filter condition where IS_Active="Yes".

My question is can we filter the data in the dataflow.. if yes, what's are steps ..

Hi @Anonymous ,

You can do this in Query Editor.

1# Select the five columns and right click the column header then click "Remove Other Columns".

2# Click the drop-down button on the column and you will find Filters feature.

this is certainly possible, you can do that in the transformations in the dataflow. Just add extra (Power Query) steps as necessary.
Have you tried that already? Or are you running into a specific issue with that?

When I am doing transformation in datafow ... getting LIST values in the columns not the exact values of the columns..

How to resolve it.

Hmm, if I connect to a SP site and select a list, I immediately get the columns from the list:

Did you enter the root URL of the SP site? Are you sure you selected a List from the options presented?
