Hi,
We have a dashboard that is shared with external users ( people who are not in our Azure AD). The data is from a on-premises tabular cube(not in cloud).
Though the dashboard is shared ( with their emails), they cannot see any of the data and get the message - "couldnt load the data for the visual".
Is there anyway possible for these external users to see the data/numbers on the report?
Thanks,
Rekha

Hi @RekhaG
It appears that you already have got the On-Premise Gateway installed and running.
What you would need to do is to map their UPNs so that it can be correctly recognized in the SSAS Cube.
Here is a link on how to do this: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/tech-tip-thursday-user-principal-name-upn-mapping-in-power-...

Thanks for response @GilbertQ.
Does this work for external users? People who are not in the company and do not share the email domain?
Hi @RekhaG
I would think it should work yes, as you can create Guest Users from another Azure Active Directory domain in your domain and then create the mapping.
