Solved: export data to excel with hyperlink

I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced trying to export report data to excel where there is a link/hyperlink within the report. When we try, it provides an error message that we are unable to export data at this time.

If so, is this a bug?

Just wanted to follow-up with this. Found out that it wasn't necessarily the hyperlink that was causing the export problem. Worked with Microsoft tech support and they re-created the issue with an older version of PowerBI, but at least 11-2017 version doesn't re-produce our current export issue. Microsoft is researching.

Has anyone successfully been able to create a report with hyperlinks and extracted as Excel from Office 365 Power BI?

@jdbusselman,

I can export the visual which contain hyperlinks. I attached my sample PBIX file, you could download it and publish to Power BI services and check if you can export it.
