i need to reeplace a report to do not affect dashboards link to the report but it always says this, could it be thats is a analysis services report?
HELP
Here are a few key points to consider:
Analysis Services Reports: If your report is connected to Analysis Services using a live connection, it's crucial to understand that replacing or republishing such reports in Power BI can have specific restrictions.
Replacing Reports Without Affecting Dashboards: When you replace a report in Power BI, any dashboards that are linked to the original report should automatically update to reflect the new report, provided that the dataset and report structure remain consistent. However, if you're using Analysis Services, ensure that the underlying model or the way you're connecting to it hasn't changed significantly, as this could impact the dashboard links.
