error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server

Can't set up a connection with a dataflow to the SQL Server through the gateway.

We use a gateway to connect to the SQL database in multiple reports with no issues, but the dataflow throws an error.

Hi @Kazanskyi

That should be on the datasource settings in the Gateway where you can change that!

Hi @GilbertQ ,

Sorry, I can't find it in the Gateway data source settings as well.

Hi @Kazanskyi

From the error could you try and change the connection to use TCP/IP instead of Named Pipes?
