drill down feature disappearing once I pin a visual to a dashboard

Hi, I had created a coulmn chart visual , I added a date hierarchy in the axis (in order to obtain a drill down feature) and profit in the values.Once I published the report to services the drill down feature seems to work in the report part but on pinning this visual to a dashboard the drill down icons disappear .Could someone please let me know why is that happening.

I am facing same issue with my Dashboards. Is there a way to get drill through after Pin live page or column chart?

@RashmitaR It is not possible currently in a dashboard tile unless you pin a live page. Vote for this idea here.

They Declined the Idea, apparently it's a bug and is supposed to work. Here we are in 2018 and it's not working.

@RashmitaR Just tested it is not available with pin live page either. I think voting for that idea is the only option atm.
