Hi all,
I'm attempting to create a custom visual as I have in the past. When debugging on the web service I'm now finding it impossible to turn on the 'enable developer visual for testing'. This makes it very tricky to debug. If I tick the box the setting isn't recorded so if I navigate away or refresh the tickbox is unticked when I come back (tried in 3 different browsers)
In the ArcGIS setting there's an apply button which is missing in the developer setting, is this a bug?
Hi @Anonymous,
Quite weird. Everything seems fine. Could you please share some snapshots? If it's still bad, please create a support ticket here: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/support/
Best Regards!
Dale
Thanks Dale,
That's exactly what I see, however I can't get the developer option in my reports. Out of interest was your tickbox already ticked? I notice there's no 'apply' button like there is for the arcgis tickbox.
Are you able to 'untick' the box and save the setting? I have the issue that I have no way of saving my tickbox setting.
Thanks for your help,
Wiredchop
Hi Wiredchop,
I check the tick box and refresh the browser. It is enabled. You can try it.
Best Regards,
Dale
Thanks, I got round this in the end by using Mozilla which seems to remember the settings. However I don't consider this solved as it's still a problem in my Chrome Browser unfortunately (just checked).
