Hi guys,
as you can see here, I am trying to create an app within Power BI. The data is coming from an SQL server database. In authentication method there are 3 options: B,W and O.
Can anyone please tell what those are and when to select what? from my understanding, O is for organizational. Any kind of help would be appreciated.
Solved! Go to Solution.
B = Basic (SQL server login)
W = Windows (NT credentials)
O = OAuth2 (token based)
Curious why only the first letter is shown?
By the way - Power BI has no concept of "default method" . You need to pick one.
