I am creating dataflow for first time, the sql is an oracle pipeline table query, which in oracle runs withing 1 minute when i say select count(*) , (about 3 million rows), I set command timeout to 60 minutes.
but in power bi when i create dataflow, i get the error exception operation timedout, is there any setting that I need to use to solve this ? Also, the "entity" source for data flow = only tables ? can it not be a view or an oracle pipeline query which is something like select * from table (schema.package_name.procedure) ?
I am experiencing the same issue with the "Dataflow operation is timed out" issue. The M Code works in PowerBI Desktop, but you are unable to work in the Data Flows it won't Preview the data
