How can I ensure that only certain users can see a button on the power bi report?
E.g. I want only person A and person B to see the button and not person C.
But I can give report access to all A, B and C
Hi, @Sachy123 ;
Page-level security and Visual-level security is not yet supported in Power BI. because the role is based on full report, not visuals/pages/etc specific. That is why we need workarounds to implement it. here is two workarounds:
1.Object Level Security in Power BI
The Object Level Security is a feature that has been introduced in Power BI in February 2021. Object-level security (OLS) enables model authors to secure specific tables or columns from report viewers. From a viewer standpoint, the table or column simply does not exist.

2.Try to copy the same page and then delete the button on one of the pages. Then set the page to hide.

In additional, I found an idea for the requirement. Maybe you could vote it.
