Why is the queries to semantic model missing in Power Query

Hello all, 

 

I am given a PBIX file, when I click on refresh, it clearly shows show data sources as shown below.

But when I open Power Query, it only shows the ToC source.

All the tables from the directquery to the semantic model  are not shown. 

 

I can see the semantic model it is connected to on the workspace.

Do you know what that is the case?

Thanks for the reply from SaiTejaTalasila .

 

DirectQuery works by maintaining a live connection to the data source, which means the data is not stored in Power BI.

 

When using DirectQuery, not all tables or data sources are visible or editable in Power Query Editor because the data is not stored in the PBIX file but queried directly from the source.

 

Consider switching the connection mode from DirectQuery to Import mode, which may make them visible and editable in Power Query Editor.
