I'm a little bit new to power BI, and I find 2 way to share dashboard that come to my mind,
1. first is to create app and share to another license,
2. second is using embed to web.
Can I know the advantage for each of this option? from my perspective it's better using embed to web.
Because if I use create app and share it means that my organization need another pro license so I can create app and share to another pro license so user can see the dashboard from that other license.
But if I use embed to web, we just need set the log in in your web site.
Is my guess true? or maybe there is other advantage that i can know.

Hi @Anonymous ,
As far as I am aware of, in Power BI Service, there are two ways to share Dashboards:
1.create a App to share:
requirements: user need Pro or PPU license to create a APP
viewer: need corresponding Pro or PPU license or the App created from Premium capacity workspace
2.by click “Share” button in Power BI Service to share
requirements: user need Pro or PPU license to share the Dashboard
viewer: need corresponding Pro or PPU license or the Dashboard hosted in a Premium capacity workspace
If you want to share report, in Power BI Service, you can choose:
1.create a App to share(same as dashboard)
2.by click “Share” button(also same as dashboard)
3.embed to website or portal:
requirements: : user need Pro or PPU license to share the report
viewer: need corresponding Pro or PPU license or the report hosted in a Premium capacity workspace

@Anonymous - As far as I am aware of, even when you emebed in Web e.g sharepoint, the users will need a pro License or the app needs to be in Premium capacity to share to free Users. Hope this helps !
