What is the maximum length of a report name and dataset name in Power BI Premium Service ?

 

Length : refers to the amount of characters one can have

Not sure there is one. I just renamed a report to "20201201 - Week over Week Change asdfasdfasdfasdfasdfasdfasdfasdfasdfasdfasdfasdfasdfafasdfasdfasdfasdfasdfasdfasdfasdfasdfasdfasdfasdfasdfasdfasdfasdfasdfasdfasdfasdfasdfasdfasdfasdfasdfasdfasdfasfasdfadsf" and it happily took it.

Go rename a report or dataset what you want and see if it takes it. It might top out at something absurd like 1024 or 4096 chars.
