I did read about the microsoft documents about the License and things to understand but after a level it goes too complex and i just forget the page i started. So, it will be nice if i can get a (relatively) simple answer for - How much are we charged for premium workspaces? are we charged for every premium workspace we get? or is there a capactiy (like 100TB ) where we can create workspaces and share the capacity? BTW, I'm working in a huge organization and my team has 20+ premium capacity workspaces.
Regards,
Ron

Hi @BI_Vijay ,
Please check your Response below
How and where do you find the Capacity (in terms of GBs/TBs)?
Power BI Premium is primarily licensed based on Virtual Cores (v-cores), not storage capacity.
The capacity refers to the computational resources
dedicated to running your Power BI workloads, not the amount of data storage.
It seems there might be a misunderstanding. In Power BI Premium, the capacity is not measured in terms of data storage capacity (GBs/TBs).
Instead, it is measured in terms of computational resources, specifically Virtual Cores (v-cores).

What's the max capacity we purchase (is it the 100 TB which we get with the premium capacity License)?
The maximum capacity is determined by the number of v-cores you purchase.
There isn't a direct correlation between v-cores and data storage size.
The v-cores represent the processing power available for running your Power BI workloads.
and how do we know whether the workspace (all 20+ in our case) are within one purchase License or not?

Thanks Mohit! We shall learn about it and come back here if we need further information on this.
Hi @PowerRon,
The pricing for Power BI Premium workspaces is primarily based on the capacity you choose, and it is not charged per workspace.
How much are we charged for premium workspaces?
The cost varies depending on the capacity tier you select (e.g., EM SKU, P SKU, A SKU).
Are we charged for every premium workspace we get?
No, you are not charged per workspace. When you purchase a premium capacity, you can assign that capacity to one or more workspaces within Power BI. The cost is associated with the dedicated capacity, not the number of workspaces.

Thanks Mohit!, This is Vijay and I work with Ron in the same team
When you say this - When you purchase a premium capacity, you can assign that capacity to one or more workspaces within Power BI.

What's the max capacity we purchase (is it the 100 TB which we get with the premium capacity License)?

Because we would like to know, how much money are we consuming as part this Power BI licenses and capacities in our team.
Thanks in advance!
