What is the Maximum file size that I can upload onto the service for users? Excel for this use case

Hi,

I would like to know what the maximum file size I can put up on the Power BI service for users to access and download.

I have an excel file, which is roughly 1gb. Would I be able to upload this, and woudl there be any performance impacts on the file, or  on the service itself?

I've read elsewhere that the limit is 250MB, but would like to confirm this, and see if there may be any workarounds to my file size if this is the case.

for a normal pro license its 1gb, for premium 10gb so you should be ok.

in terms of performance well that is completely dependent on the modelling of the data, 1gb of data is not a lot..
