What happens when a dataset refresh is in progress and the model begins to be fully processed?

Is there any locking or anything involved when a dataset is being refreshed from the model? What happens if the model is reprocessed during a dataset refresh? (these are long running dataset refreshes ~20-30minutes)

Hi there,

What happens during a refresh, is that it actually creates a new duplicate dataset where it refreshes the data.

Once it has finished refreshing the duplicate dataset it then switches the new duplicate dataset with the current dataset.

It then deletes the current (now old dataset).
