There seems no special restrictions on configuring Scheduled Refresh for Snowflake data sources on the power BI Service, similar to other general databases, however, for authentication, Snowflake data sources support authentication using Microsoft Entra IDs, and of course, you can also use Windows/Oauth2 for authentication.

You can only refresh the entire semantic model.
With API based refreshes you can be more specific and refresh tables or partitions.
