Weird line appearing in my matrix visual in Power BI Service

There is a werid line appearing in my matrix visuals in my Power BI Service. It did not have the weird line when I open the dahsboard in Power BI Desktop. I have tried to publish in different workspace but seems the line is there. Does anyone knows what is the issue?

hi @qwerty555_green
check below steps

If you are encountering a strange line in your matrix visual in Power BI Service, but the line is not present in Power BI Desktop, it could be due to a few different reasons.

  1. Browser Rendering Issue:

    • Sometimes, visual artifacts like lines or anomalies can be caused by browser rendering issues. Try opening your Power BI report in a different web browser to see if the issue persists.
  2. Clear Browser Cache:

    • Cached files in your web browser can sometimes lead to rendering issues. Clear your browser cache and then reload the report in Power BI Service to see if the line disappears.
  3. Check for Visual Filters:

    • Ensure that there are no filters or slicers applied in Power BI Service that might be causing the line to appear. Sometimes, applied filters can lead to unexpected visual artifacts.
  4. Review Data and Visualization Settings:

    • Compare the data source and visualization settings in Power BI Desktop with those in Power BI Service. Pay attention to any differences in formatting, conditional formatting, or data transformations that might be affecting the visual.
  5. Check Data Refresh:

    • Ensure that the data in Power BI Service is up-to-date and properly refreshed. An outdated dataset might display unexpected results.
  6. Visual Customization:

    • Review any custom themes, styles, or formatting that you applied to the matrix visual. Differences in styling between Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service could lead to visual discrepancies.
  7. Update Power BI Service:

    • Ensure that you are using the latest version of Power BI Service. Microsoft regularly releases updates and bug fixes, so updating to the latest version may resolve the issue.
  8. Check for Known Issues:

    • Check the Power BI community forums or Microsoft's official Power BI documentation for any known issues related to the specific version you are using.
  9. Report a Bug:

    • If you are unable to resolve the issue using the above steps, consider reporting the problem to Microsoft's Power BI support. They can investigate and provide guidance on potential solutions.
