Hi Everyone,
Fro the last one month, we are facing the below issue with the schedule and manual refresh of power bi datasets. If anyone knows the solution, Please help me on this.
Thanks,
Vishnu Priya
Hi. That's not a PowerBi issue. The API you are trying to use for getting data is throwing an error 429. That error means you have reached the maximum requests allowed by the API for a specified time range, for example 100 requests per hour or 5 requests per minute.
I strongly recommend reading the API doc in order to check for limits and avoid the "429: too many requests".
I hope that make sense
Happy to help!
@ibarrau , Thank you so much for the reply. This might solve my issue by changing the limit of API calls per period.
@Anonymous Hi, were you able to find a resolution on the QuickBase side? I have been running into the same issue, it's very inconsistent as well.
@Anonymous Hello, YEven for us the issue is very inconsistent. We haven't get any solution. Sometimes it is getting refreshed and sometimes not. Did you get any work around for this?
Thanks,
Vishnu Priya
@Anonymous I have not found any workaround other than manually refreshing my reports, many times it takes multiple attempts. However, I have heard from QuickBase that they are working with Microsoft to fix this issue. It should hopefully be resolved soon.
@Anonymous , We got some work around. Using an On Premises Gateway, the refreshes are happening fine. May be you too can give a try. Eventhough the QuickBase is a cloud platform, still we can use the gateways to manage the traffic.
Thanks,
Vishnu Priya
