All my reports are connected to a MySQL database and as most of you know if my laptop is off or asleep the refreshes will fail. To avoid this issue I installed an on-premise gateway that will run on a windows instance. The gateway I created shows up in Power BI service but when I try to add MySQL as one of the data source I get this error message below. Anyone know what went wrong?

Could you connect to other data sources for this gateway?

Do you connect to MySQL with a import mode or direct query?

Please look at this article to see the limitation of on-premises gateway.

Besides, here is a similar thread which was sloved by MS.
