Hello everybody,
I have a question on the function ‘Visualize the list’ (Power BI) that can be applied on SharePoint List
The SharePoint List has the following Read access: 'Read items that were created by the user'
A colleague of mine has full access to the Sharepoint List. In the SharePoint List, she’s able to read all items, not only the items created by her.
When she applies the function ‘Power BI’ – ‘Visualize the list’, only data are shown that were created by her. As she has full access to all records in the Sharepoint List, is there a way that she can get all records of the SharePoint List in the Power BI report?
I checked the considerations and limitations of this function, e.g. the user does have a Pro license.
I wouldn't be surprised if that were a bug in this new and frankly gimmicky feature. You can always decide to access the sharepoint list from a proper Power BI report that you control, and that you place in a workspace you control.
