Visualisation error: exceeded available resource

Hello,

I am currently working with a power Bi model and I have the error : "visual has exceeded available resources"  when trying to show per exemple a few thousand lines in a table (less than 2000) or when adding an attribute of an already used table in the visual.  If I try the same in power bi desktop, it is slow to show me the result mays I don't have any error (I work on a quad core with 32 gb or Ram).

The data are imported. The data model contains around 20 tables: 5 fact table and other are conformed dimension. the tables are really small (less than 4000 lines) The power query behind is complex. It use around 55 tables with merge, append, group by ....

I was wondering if my issue could be due to the complex power query  ? Or is it problem with the data in the model ? I don't usually have this kind of error

Thanks for your help

@Anonymous,

The issue is caused by that you have multiple and complex calculations in the data model. Power BI Service has 1GB memory limit for the memory consumed by a data model and its calculations.

In your scenario, optimize your data model following the guide in the blogs below, and re-publish your PBIX file to Power BI Service.
