I have a .pbix that lives in SharePoint and is connected through get data from the sharepoint file.
After reading through the microsoft documents I am a little puzzled.
How do I refresh the report in these three situations on Power BI service
- Visiual alteration or change
- Change of the report page level filter
- Change of data coming through
Thanks for your help in advance.

@Anonymous I think you are describing where rather than publish the report, you "connect" to it from the Service. If that is the case, the first two happen on an hourly cycle. Under the dataset there should be a "OneDrive refresh" that controls this. Its been while, I think you still would then schedule the refresh of the data, or you may not need to.

So just to clarify #1 and #2 will happen automatically because I am connecting my deploying my file through SharePoint connecting to the service and #3 can be set up via on-premise gateway or OneDrive refresh?
@Anonymous That is correct. You can take it a step further and link the OneDrive folder to your machine, then you won't have to publish to the OneDrive in SharePoint, it will just push your change after a period of time. (~1hr)
