Visual Filter Default Value

Is there a way we can have a default value populated for one of the visual filters?

@neelesh You could create a calculated column on your date table to identify the Current month. Values of 1 and 0. Use that as the filter where Current Month is 1. Something like
Current = IF(MONTH(Table1[Date])=Month(NOW()), 1, 0)

@neelesh As the report author you can save the report with a certain filter set. End users do not have the ability to set their own default filters though.

Thanks. I want to set one of the date column filter to current month. Can you please suggest how that can be done?
