Using the Analyze in Excel function

Hi there,

I would like to analyze my dataset in Excel but I'm unable to make this work. I've checked the following:

- In Power BI admin center: live connection enabled, analyze in Excel enabled, export to excel enabled

- Installed the Analyze in Excel tool

The button "analyze in Excel" is greyed out in de BI service. When I click on new dataset in Excel and select BI it gives me the error FetchDatasets was unsuccessful with errorcode 400.

Anyone got any ideas?

Hi. I'm not sure about the error, however it might be a good idea to review the considerations and limitation.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-analyze-in-excel#considerations-...

There are two that would prevent the feature, power bi embeded and if your model is not imported.

I hope that helps,
