User cannot login?

Hello all,

 

Any help on this topic would be greatly appritiated!

 

A user who has previously been able to login to the workspace (on free trial) now gets the owl and saying something went wrong try again later, i have cleared his browsing cache, tried loging into browser and desktop, created another workspace and invited him, gave the user a pro licence.

 

What else can be done, is this something on microsofts end? no other users are affected?

Hi @Anonymous ,

 

If you want to invite a guest user to your organization, you need to make sure you enable the “Invite external users to your organization” feature in the Power BI admin portal before inviting guest users. Even when this option is enabled, the user must be granted the Guest Inviter role in Azure Active Directory to invite guest users.

I suggest that you can sign in  Azure portal and check whether the user has been invited successfully.

Unfortunatly the user is not a guest and is part of the organization.

As mentioned above the user has had access previously, this has only happened since their free trial ended, so i upgraded them to a pro licence as the first troubleshooting step but this did not work, i havent removed any access from Azure and other users with exactly the same permissions/ability can still log in?

- i have cleared browser cache

- upgraded them to pro licence (just in case)

- tried logging in both desktop and browser

- created another workspace and invited them to it as a test (notification recieved but cannot login)

 

steps the user takes before error:

1. goes to login 

2. inputs email and password

3. BANG! owl stating this page cannot be found please try again later.
