Hi,

I need help on the following points in Power BI Service

1. How to build an UI ,in Power BI service, where user can login using Active Directory (Office 365) which should be based on AAA (Authentication, Autharization and Accounting). It should support at least 100 concurrent users and after login, these users can view the reports and dashboard based on thier role.

2. how can customize the domain name for the platform

3.  Can this UI platform design and functionality also support on Power BI Mobile

Please guide/help me to acheive this.

Hi jitpbi,

The Power BI Service is the UI.  If tied to your Active Directory, then it is automatically based on your criteria for users.  The number of users is "unlimited" - based on the number of licenses that you have.  So, 100 or 1000 is not a problem for concurrent logins.  Therefore, why would you build your own wrapper around that?  All of the functionality is built into the Service already for you.

The second comment you make about the domain name.....it is based on O365 tenant.  You could create a new tenant with the O365 administation or just sign up for a new tenant all together.  That would involve moving your reports/dashboards/workspaces/etc. to the new tenant though.  If you are creating your own page with your own name I would assume you could create you own alternate access mapping that redirects to the existing Service domain.  But, I don't know why you would want to do that.

As for the third question, the Service is quite easy to use on Mobile.  AND, if you are going to be using mobile consistency then your report writers should create mobile views of their reports to make life easier on your mobile users.
