Use cases Power Apps and Power Automate together with Power BI

Hai all

1. Are there interesting use cases to extend Power BI with the other tooling from the Power Platform, Power Apps and Automate?

Please let me know.

2. We have so called manually maintained tables in SQLServer? Is there a way to a screen with Power Apps (in for instance Power BI) to update/insert/delete records in those manually maintained tabels? Is there somewhere a clear example?

3. Are there use cases to use Power Automate for for instance refreshing Power BI datasets, or is the scheduled refresh of Power BI itself enough?

I am very curiuos to you answers on my three questions.

By the way, I started trying to make an app based on an Excel file on my desktop. When I select Excel as a source for my form in powerapps.com I get an error saying: No tables found in Excel-file. The import function at this moment only supports table data.
Any idea?
