We have launched a new report in the last few weeks so have been tracking usage because we want everyone to try it.
I have been monitoring usage and have some disrepancies.
User A: The report shows 0 views. So I had him open and close and re-open it over the course of yesterday 3 times. It still shows 0 views
User B: It was showing 2 views but he believed it should be more. So I had him open and close it 3 times yesterday, but the count only increased by 1 view.
Any help wiuld be appreciated

Hi @paveley1985 ,
Report Page Views rely on client telemetry and can be affected by undercounting and overcounting of activities due to inconsistent network connections, ad blockers, or other client-side issues. Report View metrics relies on activity data collected from Power BI service, and matches the aggregate counts of activities in audit logs and activity logs.
You can refer this link for more clarity
Additionally, you can go through this Worked example of View and Viewer metrics which explains how a report view count is calculated.

Usage Metrics reports are notoriously unreliable. Use the Tenant Audit logs instead.
