Clarification on F8 Fabric Capacity and A1 Embedded Option

Hello Everyone, Happy New Year! I am reaching out with a few clarifications regarding the information provided in the table below.

If a customer who opts for F8 Fabric capacity is also eligible for the embedded A1 capacity? Additionally, I would like to understand if the A1 embedded option is available for customers who choose the F8 capacity.

We have a customer currently utilizing the A1 Embedded option, and they are keen to know if they will need to pay any additional fees when they subscribe to the F8 capacity.

I have a customer who wants to deploy fabric to process data and create reports, I suggest using SKU F8 and Power BI embedded. But I don't know if the F8 package includes Power BI embedded A1 or not. According to this document, it already includes EM1/A1:

As @ibarrau already mentioned, it is indeed correct that F8 has all fabric capacities + powerbi embedded. But A1 doesn't have fabric at all, only embedded. In addition, please review the data provided below.

Firstly, it's important to note that the A1 embedded SKU is specifically designed for embedding Power BI content, such as paginated reports, into applications. This SKU provides dedicated capacity with resources allocated for your application's use, ensuring consistent performance. For more details on A1 embedded SKU, you can refer to the Power BI Embedded documentation.

On the other hand, the Fabric F8 license is part of Microsoft Fabric's licensing, which is aimed at providing a comprehensive analytics solution covering data movement, data science, Real-Time Analytics, and business intelligence. While the documentation does not explicitly mention the F8 license in the context of Power BI content embedding, it's crucial to understand that Microsoft Fabric and Power BI Embedded serve different purposes and their licenses might not be directly interchangeable for specific functionalities such as embedding.

Hi. F8 has all fabric capacities + powerbi embedded. But A1 doesn't have fabric at all, only embedded. If you are finishing your A1 contract and purchasing F8, you should change the capacity for the workspaces to keep them running at the custom embedded development. They are different capacities. One won't change and convert in the other. Consider purchasing the same region to keep the change with lower risks.
