Usage Metrics Report empty for users outside my organisation.
Hi community,
In trying to see how much my report has been used, I have been unable to see any data on this.
The report was made for a client, who represents a number of organisations. Users from all these organisations have access to this report through a link. We have shared this link with them, and they can access the report through their company email-adresses.
However, their email adresses are linked to my organisation (which hosts the report on its Power BI account). We have added their accounts to our tenant on Azure Entra as guests. This is the tricky part about the situation, and is what I'm guessing the cause of why my usage report is empty. I have enabled all usage metrics in the Admin Portal on Power BI Service, and have global rights in our Azure environment.
How could I solve this issue? Is there some setting in Power BI or Azure which would enable the usage metrics to be recorded?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi @Anonymous
You might want to check out this thread
Usage Metrics are empty for single-tab reports - Microsoft Fabric Community
However I would recommend that if you are a sys Admin of the tenant it is better that you build your own Audit Log report using Power BI REST APIs
Admin - Get Activity Events - REST API (Power BI Power BI REST APIs) | Microsoft Learn
the report is more reliable this way.
